Energy Performance Certificate
From 1st June 2007 anyone selling their home will need to have a Home Information Pack
before putting their house on the market. As well as legal information this will contain
an energy efficiency report which provides :-
- A simple to understand rating of how energy
efficient a house is similar to those on electrical appliances
- A guide to the likely costs of heating and lighting the house
- Information on what could be done to improve
efficiency and reduce costs
